The Linus show last night was the most fun we've had in ages. Pantsuit were great - hadn't heard Nan's other band before (she's in the fab Schwervon, with Major Matt Mason who also played a great set last night), and so many people came - [info]charleston, [info]jinty, [info]swisstone, the legendary Katherine Gifford, among many others. Rosie Local Kid was there (she's driving the van for the tour), our new songs worked, the promoters liked us, the venue was nice, we got paid, YAY.

I'm so glad the show went well! Someday I'll get to see Linus play, I'm determined!
I met the legendary Katherine Gifford once. She was wearing a Moog jumper and seemed very shy.

Yes, she is quite shy. It was a real surprise to see her. My friend Stephen from New Zealand turned up as well, and I haven't seen him for about five years (he didn't come over from NZ specially for the show, I hasten to add)...
