Tonight I was going to see Zombina & the Skeletones, but have had a small financial disaster & also, I am knackered. Hope everyone who went enjoyed themselves & apologies to the band... hope they play again soon.

bummer to miss zombina. i love that band!

also, i have a comic-related query, which i figure you are just the person to help me out with. last weekend i was at a panel about comics at the cathedral quarter arts festival (which i did write up a little in my lj on 2nd may, the monday after). a woman called jeremy dennis was on the panel but didn't really get to say much owing to bad chairing and other speakers dominating. do you know anything about what she does? i was interested to hear what her experience was (and hey, listing roobarb and custard as an influence is always good!), and a bit annoyed she got sidelined from the debate.
